ASEAN Guideline on Good Manufacturing Practice for Health Supplements

At-a-glance: This annex provides guidance on good practice for all aspects of health supplement manufacturing.

Background: This annex was created with the objective of ensuring health supplements are manufactured in a way that meets quality requirements on a consistent basis. Member states agreed to use good manufacturing practices (GMPs) for medicines as a point of reference. As a result, the new ASEAN guidance for health supplements in this area mirrors pharmaceutical GMP guidelines in most respects, apart from some minor adaptations.
